Position
Summary:
The Production Planner's primary responsibility will be to ensure all products required by internal and external customers are manufactured, shipped, and delivered on-time.
Responsibilities:
Planning
Review Sales Orders
Create/Manage MTO Job Orders
Request stock components
Purchase non-standard components
Outside service PO's
Customer fitting PO's
Create/Manage MPO's
Print bar codes
Expedite & Order Changes
Create/Manage MTS Job Orders
Adjust safety stock & reorder quantities
Coordinate w/other Planners
Transfer of materials
Create and print bar codes
Miscellaneous Reports
Update
Recognize errors and resolve
Distribute
Cost Accounting
Enter and distribute production reports
Inventory
Cycle Counts
Adjustments (Physical Inventory, MPO, RMA)
Purchasing
Buy departmental EURoeNuts & BoltsEUR items
Follow up on late orders
Purchase non-standard components (from s/o review)
Returns
Billing issues for above
POEUR(TM)s for Machine Shop requests
Inside Sales
Expedite Orders
Quality Assurance
Maintain Material Certification database
Maintain training records / approval charts
General
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good communication and computer skills.
Additional certifications preferred but not required or a mix of education and related job experience.
Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
Useful fields of study include business, supply management, engineering, and economics.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
