We deliver product solutions to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), end-users, and aftermarket manufacturers.
We are currently sourcing candidates for a Manufacturing Rolling Operator at our Euclid, OH facility.
This person will roll material to a breakdown gauge and/or finish gauge in accordance to set procedures established by the company and to meet customer specifications.
This is a night schedule, hours are from 6:
00 PM - 6:
00 AM; schedule will alternate, three days for one week, four days the following week.
Job responsibilities also include, but not limited to:
Roll materials per the issued work order, process, and by guidelines developed by Process Engineering.
Processing may include meeting a thickness, width, and/or length tolerance, flattening, shearing, and annealing.
Develop a rolling pass schedule as required.
Provide Quality Control with feedback on incoming ingots, when needed.
Compile and catalog all pertinent date (i.
e.
, material identification, finished size, width, length, weight and surface conditions) in mill log book.
Input this information into computer software to serve as a material record for both company and customer specification.
Inspect, lubricate and execute start-up and shut-down procedures.
Visually inspect each ingot or sheet of material to verify compliance to company requirements.
Visually inspect all work and evaluate for quality within the standards set by the company.
If material is unacceptable when measure by these standards, advise supervisor and/or Quality Control department Assure consistent product quality through established ISO procedures methods and techniques; understand the cause and effect of process variables on final product.
Qualifications:
Two - four years previous manufacturing experience Requires high school diploma or equivalent Basic math skills (i.
e.
, decimals, percentages) are required to perform necessary job functions An understanding of basic measuring equipment (micrometers, dial calipers and dial indicators) and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to operate a forklift, suction and mechanical lifts, air tools, etc.
