We are seeking an enthusiastic Inside Sales Industrial Specialist with knowledge of Manufacturing and Grinding processes to be the main point of contact with our customer base and to work with our customers to ensure an effortless experience in getting them the correct product the first time and in a timely matter.
Day to day responsibilities include daily interaction both by phone and email providing detailed and helpful information to the customer for proper selection of products including quoting accurate and timely price and lead time information.
Take and process orders by phone, fax, email including processing credit card payments and sending order acknowledgements.
Quote special made-to-order product items with input from our Production Manager.
Quote spindle repairs with detailed inspection information from Spindle Service Manager.
Follow up on all quotes with in one week or less to ensure customer retention, feedback and to identify potential new business leads and industries.
Experiences, Skills, Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, College Degree/ Bachelor's degree preferred Three (3) years minimum customer service/sales support experience, manufacturing and grinding environment highly preferred.
Neat and organized with great communication skills Must possess excellent communication and phone etiquette skills and project a professional image.
Demonstrates computer proficiency (Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook) Demonstrates aptitude in lead generation and identifying potential new business opportunities Ability to multitask and effectively manage customer concerns/issues Should posses the ability to work individually in certain situations.
